Carntyne

Carntyne is a district in the city of Glasgow. It is situated north of the River Clyde, and to the east end of the city. The old Edinburgh road runs through Carntyne and it  is close to Riddire, Shettleston, Tollcross and Mount Vernon.

Carntyne has a train station whcih has a regular service to |Glasgow city centre and the surrounding areas. John Wheatley college is based in Haghill Road and contributes to the thriving local community and econcomy.

Carntyne has many local businesses including bakers, hairdressers, taxi companies and garages. The local industrial estate has many other businesses that are supported by the local community.
